What is the purpose of this trip?
The Asia Gospel Takeover is dedicated to spreading the love and message of Jesus Christ across Asia. Our mission is to lead people to repentance and faith through preaching, miracles, and the power of the Holy Spirit. We are committed to advancing Godโs kingdom in Asia by bringing His Word to those who need it most.
Why should I join your team?
Joining our team means playing a crucial role in transforming lives in Asia. Every additional evangelist amplifies our reach and impact. Your participation can help bring thousands more to Christ. We also encourage you to invite friends and colleagues, particularly those trained by CfaN. We need all the help we can get, and every person makes a difference.
Is this a CfaN initiative?
Yes, the evangelists preaching will be CfaN-trained. Only those who have completed their training with Mr. Jako and Ms. Karen will preach. Others can contribute by assisting with interpreting, driving, and organizing. This mission, while supported by CfaN, is separate from the 50 major CfaN crusades in Africa this year. CfaN has equipped us to take new territory for Jesus and call people to repentance.
Can my spouse, family, etc., come on this trip?
Family members are welcome to join, but they must cover their own costs for accommodation, meals, and transportation. Non-CfaN-trained individuals can assist with non-preaching roles and help organize the crusades. They are free to stay for any duration they prefer.
What is the total cost of the trip?
The total cost is $10,000 USD, averaging $2,875 per month. For those joining part of the trip, the cost is $3,000 per month. This covers accommodation, transport, interpreters, and meals. We recommend raising $12,000 to also include flight expenses. Unused funds can be retained. Deposits are not required now but may be requested before departure.
*Cost Breakdown for 3.5 Months:*
- ๐๏ธ Accommodation: $3,000
- ๐ฝ๏ธ Food: $1,400
- ๐ฃ๏ธ Interpreter: $850
- ๐ Vehicle + Driver: $1,200
- โฝ Fuel: $1,000
- ๐ Interpreter Accommodation & Food: $950
- ๐ Driver Accommodation & Food: $950
- ๐ Speaker Systems: $300
- ๐ Follow-up Books and Shipping: $350
- *Total: $10,000 USD*
How much cash should I bring?
To manage expenses smoothly, bring $5,000 in cash if possible, ensuring the bills are new and crisp. Cambodia uses USD, so this will be most convenient. If cash isnโt feasible, use credit/debit cards for ATM withdrawals or services like Remitly for transfers. For Thailand, bring at least $1,000 (or Euros) for exchange; most places accept cards.
How to fundraise for the trip?
Start fundraising now. Inform your pastor and potential supporters about the trip and your financial needs. Engage with people directly and invite them to support you through prayer and donations. Consider joining Joe Franklin's fundraising Zoom meetings for additional support: https://www.skool.com/funding-the-harvest-7335/ Many receive their funds as they travel or serve, so stay in touch with your supporters and thank them regularly.
Apart from the youth crusades, who will cover the gospel crusade expenses?
The preaching evangelists will handle crusade expenses. Only CfaN bootcamp graduates are eligible to preach. Detailed costs will be determined on-site in Thailand and Cambodia.
What will the Gospel crusade look like?
We are planning CfaN-style crusades with multiple nights of preaching and healing. These events aim to draw large crowds and integrate new believers into local churches for ongoing discipleship.
What will our daily schedule be like?
- Thailand: School outreach from 8 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Cambodia: School outreach from 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Saturday, plus additional church outreach for children on select evenings.
- Philippines: School outreach from 6 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday.
We will also spend time in team prayer, organizing crusades, and adapting to changing plans as needed.
Will we have days off, and what can we do?
We aim to take Sundays off, though you may choose to minister at local churches. On your days off, you can visit attractions such as water parks, museums, floating markets, night markets, and zoos. There are plenty of opportunities for relaxation and exploration.
What will I do besides preach?
You will have various responsibilities, including:
- Organizing and ordering books
- Managing the crusade logistics
- Booking accommodations
- Handling team finances
- Overseeing interpreters and drivers
- Managing audio equipment
- Guiding spiritual activities like worship and prayer
- Setting up speaking engagements and other tasks
What if I feel bored or lonely and want to go home?
The trip is a 3.5-month commitment, but you are not alone. We are a family in Christ and will support each other spiritually and emotionally. Stay connected with the team and support network, and remember, you can do this!
How many people will join for the entire trip?
We are reaching out to Bootcamp, SOE, and Firecamp graduates, and welcoming all CfaN-trained individuals. We hope for at least 30 participants over the 3.5 months. Invite and encourage others to join. Your experience will be enriched with friends around.
Can I join only part of the trip, for example, only in Thailand or Cambodia?
While full participation is encouraged, we welcome any duration that fits your schedule. Even a shorter stay will be impactful. Please inform Roman of your availability by completing this form: https://forms.gle/chZ6DieSJJD64pRv6
